Quicksilver brings together some of North America’s most acclaimed Early Music instrumentalists to explore the rich chamber music repertoire of Baroque period Europe. In this documentary, the prize-winning vocal ensemble Profeti della Quinta rehearse and perform Rossi’s music in the magnificent town of Mantua, in preparation for a special concert in the Gonzaga dukes’ pleasure palace. Tony Siqi Yun, the First Prize winner and Gold Medalist at the First China International Music Competition, was born in Toronto, Canada in 2001. Tony is a recipient of the Jerome L. Greene Fellowship at the Juilliard School where he studies with Professors Matti Raekallio and Yoheved Kaplinsky.
